Top Credit Card Offers

Updated August, 2017

This is a list of the best credit card bonus offers I've been able to find. Make sure to read Credit Card Strategy for Newbies before you start applying for these offers. Note that I don't use affiliate links, so I'm only going to share the best offers I've found with you. Also note that you may not see the Sapphire Reserve or Preferred or other cards on here. That's not to say those are aren't great offers, they are just at their normal bonus level right now.

THE LIST

Chase Ink Preferred (business card)

Bonus - 80,000 points if you spend $5,000 in the first 3 months

Benefits - 3x Points on travel, shipping, internet, cable, phone, and social media advertising

Annual Fee - $95, possibly waived if you apply in branch

Why should you get it? 80,000 points is worth at least $1,000 towards travel and $800 if redeemed for cash. It's also a business card so it won't count towards your 5/24 status with Chase

Notes: You won't be approved if you've had 5 or more credit card accounts opened in the past 24 months

Bank of America Merrill +

Bonus: 50,000 points if you spend $3,000 in he first 3 months

Benefits - No annual fee. Points can  be used for a variety of airlines or cash

Annual Fee - None
Why should you get it? This offer is worth upwards of $1,000 and for a no-annual fee that's as good as it will ever get. I suspect this deal won't last much longer

Notes:  You were once able to apply for this card online. You are only able to apply via phone right now and I suspect this bonus won't last much longer. This card is a bit YMMV,  but let us know if you're able to get it. Make sure you confirm the bonus when you call. Call 866-751-1257 to apply.

Wells Fargo Propel World

Bonus: 40,000 points if you spend $3,000 in the first 3 months

Benefits: 3x on airlines, 2x on hotels and 1x on all other purchases and $100 credit for airline incidental charges (lounges, baggage fees, and in some cases gift cards from airlines. I used my credit to buy $100 Southwest gift card

Annual Fee - $175, but waived the first year

Why should you get? I value you this bonus at $500. The 40,000 points can be cashed in for $400 and the $100 airline incidental credit can be used to buy some airline gift cards (Southwest worked for me)

Notes: You must apply in branch to get this card

Barclaycard Arrival +

Bonus - 50,000 points after you spend $3,000 in the first 3 months

Benefits: 2x on all spend

Annual Fee - $89, but waived the first year

Why should you get it? Points are worth 1 cent if redeemed for travel and you are given a 5% points bonus on all redemption. Therefore this bonus is valued at max $525. This card also makes for every day spend as you'll get double points on all purchases.

Notes: Redemptions start at $100, making a minimum redemption require 10,000 points

Alaska Airlines Visa Signature Card

Bonus - 30,000 points + $100 and free companion pass after $1,000 spend in the first 3 months

Benefits - 3x on all Alaska and Virgin America flights and free checked bags

Annual Fee - $75

Why should you get it? This is the best offer they've had on this card. The free companion pass is good for a round trip ticket with a paid ticket on Alaska or Virgin America. You'll only pay taxes and fees on the companion ticket.

Notes: Bank of America has been known to combine bank inquires, so if there's another BofA card that you're interested in, it may be worthwhile to apply for it on the same day to only get one hard credit pull.

Citi AAdvantage Platinum Select World EliteTM Mastercard® Personal/Business

Bonus - 60,000 points after $3,000 spend in the first 3 months

Benefits - 2x on all AA flights and first bag checked free on domestic flights

Annual Fee - $95, but waived the first year

Why should you get it? 60,000 points is one of the highest offers they've had on this card. I would rank this card higher, but AA points have been difficult to use lately.

Notes: You can receive the bonus on both the personal and business version of  this card.

Barclaycard AAdvantage Aviator Red World Elite

Bonus - 50,000 points after your first purchase in the first 3 months

Benefits - 2x on all AA flights and first bag checked free on domestic flights

Annual Fee - $95

Why should you get it? This card has no minimum spend, so getting the bonus is very easy. This bonus recently increased from 40,000 points, so now is a good time to strike if you're in need of AA miles.

Avianca Vuela Visa Card

Bonus: 60,000 points after your first purchase in the first 3 months. Must use promo code AVSPWE.

Benefits - 3x on Avianca purchases, 2x on groceries and gas, 1x on all other spend

Annual Fee - $149

Why should you get it? 60,000 points is a really good offer and it's not from the big players (Chase, Citi, Amex, Barclaycard). These points translate well to United and Star Alliance partners. 63,000 points gets you a one way business class ticket to Europe!

Notes: Make sure to use the promo code to get the full bonus.

American Express Platinum

American Express has been know to send out offers of 100,000 points for this card. If you get one of these offers, then go for it! It's a great bonus and is rare!
